For Angle Auto Finance, closing the gender pay gap is about doing the right thing when it comes to remuneration so as we can all equally win together as we grow our business.
The Workplace Gender Equity Agency (WGEA) pay gap is a calculation of the average of all female salaries divided by the average of all male employees. It does not take into account the specific role performed by an employee nor the seniority of role.
The release of the WGEA GPG information shows that Angle Auto Finance has a Gender Pay Gap of 27% against a Financial industry comparison of 36%. Our actual pay equity gap is 3% meaning we pay like for like for each of our roles, irrespective of gender.
We do acknowledge that we want greater female participation in our senior leadership level positions in order to close any gap. Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy will help support this goal.
